Your logbook lists every dive you’ve logged, highest dive number first, under a count of how many dives you have. Tap the search icon to filter the list as you type; search runs on your phone and looks at each dive’s number, site, place, notes, dive shop or boat, and a few conditions and rig details.

Open your logbook

Open the menu and tap logbook. The page is titled dive log.

What the page shows

  • The count. The large figure at the top is the total number of dives in your logbook, with dives logged under it. It always shows the total, even while a search is narrowing the list.
  • my dives. One row per dive. Each row shows the dive number in a badge, the dive site, the place and date beneath it, and the max depth and dive time when the dive has them. A dive with no site name shows its place instead, then its date, then its number.
  • add dive. The row at the foot of the list starts a new dive. The + in the top bar does the same. See Log a dive.
Tap any row to open that dive. See View, edit or delete a dive.

How the list is ordered

Dives are sorted by dive number, highest first. Because new dives get the next number, this is usually newest first. A dive you’ve renumbered, or an older dive you log later, sits wherever its number puts it, not where its date would. If your logbook is empty, the page shows a short line and an add dive button instead of the list.

Search your logbook

1

Open search

Tap the search icon in the top bar. A search field opens at the top of my dives.
2

Type what you remember

The list filters with every letter you type. A line under the field says how many dives match, or no dives match your search.
3

Close search

Tap the x in the top bar where the search icon was. Closing search clears what you typed and shows the whole logbook again. The smaller x inside the field clears the text but keeps search open.

What search looks at

Search matches these parts of each dive: It does not search the date, max depth, dive time, rating, the gear ticked on a dive’s equipment checklist, or the dive type. The search field’s hint reads search site, place, notes, gear, conditions. “Gear” there means the wetsuit and weight belt. The equipment checklist you tick for each dive isn’t searched, and the dive number and dive shop or boat are searched even though the hint doesn’t mention them.

How matching works

  • Every word must match. cozumel night finds night dives in Cozumel, not every Cozumel dive plus every night dive.
  • Case doesn’t matter, and part of a word is enough. coz finds Cozumel.
  • Spaces in measurements don’t matter. 3mm finds a 3 mm suit, and 12kg finds a 12 kg weight belt.
  • It works offline. Search filters the dives already on your phone, so it needs no connection.

If your dives don’t load

If the logbook can’t load, the page says it couldn’t load your dives and shows retry. Check your connection and tap retry. The add dive row stays available.
