# Your free day

> How the travel agent's free day works: it starts with the question that spends it, lasts 24 hours, and comes once per email address.

Every email address gets one free day with the travel agent: 24 hours of unlimited questions. It starts only when you tap **start** and the question you were sending goes out, so opening the travel agent or reading old conversations never uses it.

## Start your free day

<Steps>
  <Step title="Send your first question">
    Type a question in the travel agent and tap **send**. Before anything is sent, the app asks **start your free day?**
  </Step>

  <Step title="Read what it covers">
    The dialog says your first 24 hours are free, that they start when this question sends, and that after that the agent needs a paid trip pass for 30 days of planning, at the price shown in the app. A trip pass doesn't renew automatically.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Tap start, or not yet">
    Tap **start** to send the question and start the 24 hours. Tap **not yet** to send nothing: your question stays in the box, nothing is saved, and your free day is still there for later.
  </Step>
</Steps>

## How long it lasts

The free day runs for 24 hours from the moment that first question sends. Ask as much as you like in that time, in as many conversations as you like.

While it runs, a line above the message box shows how much is left, for example **free day · 23 hours left**. It counts in hours, then in minutes during the last hour.

When the 24 hours are up, your next question opens the trip pass offer. Your conversations stay, and you can read them any time without a pass. See [Trip pass](/docs/travel-agent/trip-pass).

## One free day per email address

The free day belongs to your email address, not just your account. If you delete your account and sign up again with the same address, the new account doesn't get another free day. The same applies to variations of the address that deliver to the same inbox: capital letters, a "+tag" after your name, and, for Gmail addresses, dots.

An account whose address already used its free day isn't offered one. On its first question, the trip pass offer opens instead of **start your free day?**, saying **this email address already used its free day on another account.** Your question stays in the box until you have a pass.
