# Your account

> Change your name, profile photo and location in SCUBAzen. Your email address can't be changed.

The **account** page shows your name, email, location and profile photo. To change them, tap the pencil at the top of the page, edit, and tap **save profile**. Your email address is the one you sign in with and can't be changed in the app.

Open it from settings: tap **account** under **you**.

## Change your name or location

    Type in **name** or **location**.

    **save profile** becomes available once something has changed. To leave without saving, tap the X at the top right instead; your old details come back.

Your name is printed on your [paperwork](/docs/trips/paperwork), with your email address, so use the name a dive shop will see on your certification cards.

If you're offline, the change is saved on your phone and syncs when you're back online. If it can't be saved at all, you'll see a message and your typing stays in the fields so you can try again.

Your location is optional. The app doesn't use it for anything; it's saved with your account so the SCUBAzen team can see roughly where divers are based. It's deleted with your account.

## Change your profile photo

    Choose **gallery** to pick a photo from your library, or **camera** to take one.

The new photo saves as soon as it's uploaded. You don't need to tap **save profile** for it. Uploading needs a connection.

## Your email address

The **email** row shows the address you sign in with. It can't be edited. To use a different address, you'd need a new account: sign out and sign in with the other address, which starts an empty account. Nothing moves between the two.
